B-52 Golf Event Benefits Lakeville Hockey Association

This summer, B-52 Burgers & Brew hosted a charity golf tournament at Crystal Lake Golf Club in Lakeville. The event raised funds for the Lakeville Hockey Association and Hockey Helps, both vital organizations that work to support youth hockey in the community. At Jeff Belzer’s Chevrolet, we were thrilled to participate as a sponsor of this event, supporting local youth hockey programs that help make the sport accessible to families in the community. As part of our sponsorship, we hosted a hole-in-one competition—where golfers had the chance to win a brand-new Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While no one claimed the grand prize this time, the excitement and friendly competition made for a great day.

Supporting Local Youth Hockey

The Lakeville Hockey Association plays a vital role in providing young athletes with the opportunity to learn the game and compete at various levels. The funds raised during this golf event directly support the association’s efforts to maintain programs for players of all ages and skill levels. Another huge part of their mission is to develop these young players into future scholars, leaders, and good citizens. Hockey Helps also benefitted from the tournament, and their mission is twofold. One, to strengthen the image of hockey in the community. Two, to expand the love of the sport of hockey into good in the community. Each year, Hockey Helps awards four post-secondary education scholarships to current or past LHA participants.
