Primary Gate Load Step
If you lower the entire tailgate, you also have the ability to lower the top quarter panel again. The top panel then folds out into a step which can be used to get in and out of the truck bed. The inner gate folds down into a large step for easy access, capable of holding up to 375 lbs.
Inner Gate
When opened, the inner gate provides a place perfect for a laptop or blueprints, as well as second-tier loading. When hauling longer items with the inner gate down, a second load stop flips up to secure your cargo.
Midgate
Some Silverado EV models also include the Multi-Flex Midgate. With the Midgate, you can essentially remove the glass from the back window to extend the bed of your truck. To access this feature, you need to lower the back seats and remove the glass. There is a storage place under the seats for the glass. This allows a more spacious and versatile bed that can fit items up to 10 ft. 10 in. in length.
