Jeff Belzer’s Gives Back to Local Students at Shop With a Hero Event

Jeff Belzer’s is back in the community this holiday season – this time partnering with the Lakeville Public Safety Foundation as a Platinum Sponsor of the annual Shop With a Hero event. Each year, the foundation pairs local students with Lakeville Firefighters and Lakeville Police Department Officers for a special holiday shopping trip.

Once matched with their hero, students receive Target gift cards to shop for holiday gifts for themselves and their families. The entire experience is made possible by generous donors, volunteers, Target staff, and the first responders who dedicate their time to give back. Beyond helping the children pick out gifts, volunteers also assist with gift wrapping and coordinating meals for the students after they shop.

More than just a shopping trip, Shop With a Hero creates meaningful connections, giving children a memorable holiday experience while building lasting bonds and mentorships with the first responders who serve their community.

In addition to sponsoring Shop With a Hero, Jeff Belzer’s also participated in the annual Chevrolet First Responder Program, which encourages Chevy dealerships to support local first-responder organizations. This year, we were honored to once again present a donation to the Lakeville Public Safety Foundation and continue our partnership with such an impactful organization.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Shop With a Hero event, and Jeff Belzer’s couldn’t be more proud to support our community through initiatives like this. A huge thank-you to everyone who made this special event possible: Lakeville Public Safety Foundation, Target team members, volunteers, and especially the first responders who hold this community together.
