Lakeville North and South line up at Target Field High School Series

Lakeville North and Lakeville South took the field in Downtown Minneapolis following the Twin’s walk-off win against the Mets on Wednesday, April 16th. This cross-town rivalry matchup is one of 6 regular season high school baseball games to take on Target Field in 2025. It’s a series that many hope becomes a tradition for years to come.

Schedule: 2025 High School Baseball Series at Target Field

- Saturday, April 12th: Byron vs. Stewartville
- Wednesday, April 16th: Lakeville North vs. Lakeville South; Highland Park vs. St. Paul Academy
- Saturday, April 26th: Edina vs. Minnetonka
- Wednesday, May 21st: White Bear Like vs. Mounds View
- Thursday, June 12th: Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA) vs. Clarion-Goldfield-Dows (Clarion, IA)

A Taste of the Big Leagues

Historically, this has been an opportunity for State Tournament participants. But this year, these 12 teams were given the chance to take on Target Field in the regular season.

An iconic matchup as is, this year’s game between North and South was extra special. The Cougars went on to win this one with a final score of 10-0.
