Chrysler Airflow Aerial View

The Chrysler Airflow was first introduced to the market back in 1934. With an exterior that had never been seen before, the Airflow was meant to disrupt automotive design. It was the first American vehicle to use streamlining to build a car that is less susceptible to air resistance. Although the vehicle’s production run was short lived, ending in 1937, it showed Chrysler’s determination to forge a new path within the automotive sector. This is precisely what they are working towards with the Chrysler Airflow Concept. They aim to encompass what the future will look like with exterior design, interior features, and driving capabilities.

The Chrysler Airflow will be the first in their lineup of connected, all-electric vehicles. Chrysler intends on releasing the full lineup by 2028, with the Chrysler Airflow Concept launching in 2025. Jeff Belzer’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is dedicated to providing relevant, reliable information to its readers. We will go through the range, exterior, interior, and performance of this vehicle. Feel free to contact us to stay up to date with the latest news or visit us in New Prague, Roseville, and Lakeville, Minnesota. Now, let’s discuss the features of the Chrysler Airflow Concept.

Design

Exterior

The Airflow Concept showcases sleek, soft lines for an elegant body style. This distinctive design features a round front end with a new Chrysler Wing logo. It also has a low ride height. This paired with the two-tone roof achieves an athletic appearance. There are crystal accents scattered throughout the vehicle, the first of which you see on the outside. The front grille and taillights feature crystal LED lighting that spans across the width of the vehicle. These soft, subtle touches help differentiate the Airflow Concept from competitors and merry the exterior and interior together.

The Chrysler Airflow Graphite Concept is the alter ego of the Airflow concept initially revealed. While the Airflow Concept showcases a white exterior color, the Airflow Graphite Concept boasts a black body color with Cyprus Copper accents. You can see these accents reflected through the rims and interior details. This contrast aims to offer a more serious yet sophisticated design.

Interior

On the inside, Chrysler utilizes sustainable materials for the seating. Currently, the Airflow Concept is shown as a four-passenger vehicle with slim pedestal seating. However, we would not be surprised if it also came out with a standard 5-passenger bench for rear seating. The cabin looks spacious, even more so with the fixed glass roof. The interior is also equipped with customizable ambient lighting, creating a personalized experience for each driver. Bringing in those crystal elements of the exterior, Chrysler is showcasing a crystal gear shift dial. There is also no shortage of display screens, with the main control panel accompanied by the passenger screen and the screens on the rear seats.

Technology and Connectivity

Technology and connectivity are central to the idea and inspiration behind the Chrysler Airflow Concept. Passengers in the front and the back seats can customize their space and screen to access their preferred applications and entertainment. These screens even come with a built-in camera if you need to hop on a video conference call. Let’s get into some more advanced features:

  • STLA AutoDrive

The STLA AutoDrive system offers level 3 autonomous driving capabilities. This technology detects the surrounding environment to check for road and weather conditions. If all conditions are met, the driver can enable hands-free driving. Of course, this system will also come standard with essential safety features.

  • STLA Brain Software

This software uses advanced AI technology to adapt to the driver’s preferences. You can also use voice assistance for commands such as navigation and climate controls. The system will also automatically update with over-the-air updates.

  • Chrysler Synthesis

This is an exciting new feature offered by Chrysler. This system uses AI-based applications to seamlessly integrate your vehicle with other aspects of your life. Imagine if your garage door opened as you approached or if you could unlock your front door from the comfort of your vehicle. With your Virtual Personal Assistant, this is possible with a voice command. Chrysler’s goal is to integrate all your various environments into your vehicle. Will you give it a try?

Range and Performance

The Chrysler Airflow Concept has all-wheel drive capabilities with two 150 kW electric drive motors, one in the front and one in the back. This boasts impressive handling and power. The vehicle’s battery is also designed to offer a 400-mile range on a single charge. Especially if you have a level 1 or 2 charger at your home, you will have no issues with your daily commute. If you are using a level 3 public charger, you will be on your way with a full charge in 30-60 minutes.

New Prague High School Presentation

Spring is in full bloom, and so is our commitment to making a positive impact within the community. In the April edition of Belzer in the Community, we will share our initiatives of promoting automotive financial literacy within the schools and our support of a comedy show and school gala. Join Jeff Belzer’s as we work to educate, inspire, and celebrate our beloved community.

New Prague High School Activation

April is financial literacy month, which means that Jeff Belzer’s took to the schools to educate students on automotive financial literacy. A finance manager from New Prague went to New Prague High School and gave a presentation on all things automotive. Topics included interest rates, loan terms, warranties, new vs. used, and the car-buying process in general. The students were engaged in Q&A sessions and had lots of great questions for us. We had a wonderful time and look forward to continuing these initiatives next school year. Educating young adults on the complex topic of buying a vehicle is something that is important to us, and we are excited to grow our reach next year. Thank you to New Prague High School for having us!

Providence Academy Gala

Jeff Belzer’s was a Silver Sponsor of the Providence Academy Gala this past month. Located in Plymouth, Minnesota, Providence Academy is a nonprofit, co-educational Roman Catholic school that serves students from Pre-K to 12th grade. This year, it with the 23rd Annual Gala and the theme was Kentucky Derby. It was a wonderful night of celebration and raising funds for the school, which was a record-setting year. Congratulations to Providence Academy for a successful night — we are happy that we were a part of it!

New Prague Comedy Night

Chevy Equinox on site at event

KCHK, beloved radio station based in New Prague, hosted the Ingstad Comedy Tour at the Park Ballroom in April. There were five entertainers in total with two headliners: Fred Bevill and Jon Stringer. These performers were traveling throughout the Midwest for their shows and landed in New Prague, Minnesota! There were many references and jokes about the small-town feel, which we definitely found amusing. Throughout the whole night, no one stopped laughing, and there is no doubt that most people’s cheeks were hurting from smiling so much. This was a truly memorable night! Jeff Belzer’s was a sponsor of this wonderful event, and we were happy to invite some of our employees out to enjoy the night. Thank you again to KCHK for hosting!

Upcoming Events

Youth Fishing Day

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 19th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm! Glenn Walker, pro fisherman, will be at our New Prague location (1181 280th Street West, New Prague, Minnesota 56071) for a youth fishing day. He will teach his expertise to the kids through knot tying, casting practice, and overall fishing information. There will be prizes and a tackle box for every person to take home with them! It will be a great summer family event that you won’t want to miss. We will see you there!

JP4 Foundation Water and Baseball Glove Drive

Jeff Belzer’s is excited to announce that we will be hosting a water and baseball glove drive from Monday, May 27th to Friday, June 7th. This will benefit the JP4 Foundation, whose mission is to enrich the lives of youth in underserved communities. They accomplish this through summer-long camps and the “Diamond Club”, an after-school program designed to create meaningful relationships between students and a young adult mentor. This organization was initially created to honor the life of Johnny Price IV and improve the lives of youth through baseball, the sport that Johnny loved. They have expanded from this initial mission, but baseball is still an important part of their programming.

Every summer, they go through more than 3,000 bottles of water and are always in need of gently used baseball gloves. Jeff Belzer’s is hosting a donation drive to collect baseball gloves and bottled water. If you are able, we encourage you to drop off these items at any of our locations: Lakeville, New Prague, and Roseville, Minnesota. We truly appreciate your generosity and support of the JP4 Foundation.

Interior Clean

Winter has gone and spring has arrived, which means it is prime time for spring cleaning. Whether that means going through your closet, doing a deep clean of the house, or organizing documents, there is no doubt that these tasks lift a weight off your shoulders to live in a more clean, organized space. Your car is no exception! This is a great time to rid your vehicle of the salt it has built up from winter, declutter, and clean the interior. Plus, our Jeff Belzer’s Service Department can help tackle some of the more difficult spring cleaning tasks. Let’s get into some tips and tricks to ensure your vehicle is refreshed and ready for spring.

Declutter & Organize

The first step in spring cleaning your vehicle is to declutter and take out unnecessary items from the interior. Remove any trash you may have accumulated and throw it out. Take inventory of winter items such as coats, blankets, gloves, scrapers, and a jump pack. If you would prefer to leave these items in your vehicle for the next season, put them in the trunk in an organizer. Otherwise, place these items in your garage or house to be used next year. Clear out the glove compartment, center console, and door pockets. If you are hauling around unnecessary items in your trunk, take them out. A lighter load will improve fuel efficiency! For the items that you need to keep in your vehicle for work, kids, or any other reason, consider investing in storage bins or organizers. This will keep items neatly stored and easily accessible.

Detailing & Cleaning

Now that you have decluttered and organized the items within your vehicle, it is time to clean! We recommend starting with the exterior and then moving into the interior.

Exterior

Start by washing the exterior using a gentle car wash soap and a microfiber towel. If there is a buildup of salt on your vehicle, take it through the car wash. If this still does not remove all the salt, use water and vinegar to clean those areas. The acid will help break down the salt. After this has been cleared, move onto the tires. Use a tire foam and shine product along with a brush to get all nooks and corners of the rims clean. Don’t forget about cleaning the windows and mirrors. Thoroughly rinse the exterior to ensure you are not left with streaks and dry with a clean microfiber towel. Now let’s move onto the interior!

Interior

Vacuum of Interior Seats of Vehicle

The inside of your vehicle is where you spend a lot of your time, so you want to make sure it is clean! To begin, vacuum both the carpet and the seats to remove dust, dirt, crumbs, and rocks. If you have floor mats in your vehicle, remove and power wash them to take care of that caked on dirt and grime. After that, use an upholstery or carpet cleaner to spot-treat stains. Wipe down the dashboard, door panels, center console, and all other surfaces with interior/detailer wipes or spray. Lastly, spray down the windows inside of the vehicle with glass cleaner – you will be surprised how dirty these can get even from inside your car!

Service Department Solutions

Some spring-cleaning tasks may require professional attention, and our service department is here to assist with any needs that may arise. Here is a list of items to check when making your vehicle ready for spring.

1. Wiper Blades

The winter is harsh on your wiper blades due to combatting the snow and ice. Check if they need replacing by looking to see if they leave streaks on your windshield. The rainy spring season is a great time to replace them.

2. Cabin Air Filter

Inspect the cabin air filter to see if it is clogged or dirty. During the winter months, this can happen quicker than other seasons, so it is essential to check if it needs to be replaced. This part filters the air that is going to the engine, so when it gets too dirty, this will not function properly.

3. Tires

If you have winter tires on your vehicle, get these changed out to all-season tires as quickly as possible. Not sure what the difference is? Read our article that breaks the two options down here. Even if you do not switch from winter to all-season, it is important to get your tires rotated so that they wear evenly. Of course, if the tread is too low, you should get them replaced. Another thing to check is alignment. Those pesky potholes always come out of nowhere in the winter months. Make sure your wheels are properly aligned for the season.

4. Air Conditioning

We never think about turning on the AC in winter – it is much too cold for that! However, as the spring season starts, it is a good idea to turn it on just to make sure it is working properly. You don’t want to experience high temperatures and then realize that it does not work!

5. Oil Change

Of course, checking and changing your oil is an essential part of maintaining your vehicle’s health regardless of the season. While you are performing these other checks, make sure you put this on the list.

Our Jeff Belzer’s Service Department in Lakeville, New Prague, and Roseville, Minnesota will work efficiently to ensure your vehicle receives top quality care and attention. 2. Forward Collision Alert
  3. Front Pedestrian Braking
  4. Intellibeam
  5. Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning

The Exterior | Silverado EV

The shape of this electric truck is designed to optimize efficiency by channeling air more dynamically down the body. It will remind many of the Chevrolet Avalanche truck, which stopped production in 2013. As of right now, the Silverado EV will be available only with four full-size doors in a crew cab configuration. It also boasts a nearly 6 foot bed length (five-foot, eleven-inches to be exact!).

A versatile Multi-Flex Tailgate

The tailgate on the all-new Silverado EV offers 6 different configurations, offering versatility and capability in any situation.

  1. Primary Gate: This is your standard tailgate and can open from a button on the gate, inside the truck, or from the key fob.
  2. Full-Width Step: The inner gate folds down into a step for easy access into the truck bed.
  3. Easy Access: The inner gate folds down, which allows you to reach further into the bed.
  4. Primary Gate Load Stop: This helps prevent extra-long items from sliding out of the bed.
  5. Inner Gate Load Stop: This is designed to prevent second-tier items from sliding out of the bed.
  6. Inner Gate with Work Surface: When opened, this is a great place for blueprints, a laptop, or other items.

Additional cargo space in the “Frunk”

Short for the front-trunk, the “Frunk” offers additional cargo space you typically wouldn’t have in an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicle.

An all-new, innovative Multi-Flex Midgate

This is bed storage like you’ve never seen it before. With the Multi-Flex Midgate, there are 3 configurations to allow you to haul items and materials in the most effective way possible. It has 60/40 doors so that you can lower the midgate into the cab and thus provide extra cargo space. If you have even bulkier items, such as a couch, you can also remove the glass to accommodate more width. Refer to this guide for how to lower and raise the midgate.

2023 Donny Abboud Top Chevy Salesman

As we navigated the madness of March, Jeff Belzer’s made sure that the community was top of mind. Giving back to our beloved communities has always been a necessity, as we would not be the business we are today without their support. This month, we will highlight the amazing opportunity that the Lakeville South Marching Band had along with the annual Twin Cities Auto Show.  In addition, we will celebrate the 2023 Chevrolet awards that we were proud to accept.

Chevrolet Accolades

March 28, 2024 marked the annual Chevrolet Minneapolis Sales Recognition Meeting. Here, Jeff Belzer’s Chevrolet was honored to be named Minnesota’s #1 Volume Chevrolet Dealership. We have earned this award for the past numerous years, and we are humbled to have received it again. In addition, our very own Donny Abboud won top salesman of the year in Minnesota, with 226 sales. Congratulations, Donny! Jeff Belzer’s Chevrolet has much to be proud of, and we want to thank all of you for your continued support.

We also had the privilege of listening to guest speaker John Kriesel. John is a veteran who served in the Iraq War and lost both legs, and multiple comrades, in an explosion. His storytelling ability is unmatched and undoubtedly moves all who listen. His message is one of positivity, optimism, and attitude. The mantra that he has since lived by is “Life is good. Life is so darn good.” His message helps put things into perspective, and helps us be grateful for what we have. We highly recommend you support him by visiting his website, purchasing his book, “Still Standing: The Story of SSG John Kriesel,” or following him on Facebook to hear his inspiring words. From all of at Jeff Belzer’s, thank you for your service, John.

Lakeville South High School Band

Lakeville South Band

This year, the Lakeville South High School Marching Band had the incredible opportunity to go to Ireland. The students marched in the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Dublin, showcasing their talent. All of their hard work and training over the past several months had culminated to this: a once in a lifetime opportunity to play in front of an international audience. We have no doubt that this trip was one that they will never forget. Jeff Belzer’s helped cover some of the busing expense to support this amazing opportunity. We hope it was a fantastic trip – great work, Lakeville South Band! Fox 9 did a story highlighting the trip: check it out here.

Twin Cities Auto Show

This year’s Auto Show took place at the Minneapolis Convention Center from March 30 – April 7. This event is geared towards the general public and showcases hundreds of vehicles. This allows you to look at all sorts of makes and models without having to drive around to different dealerships. You will see luxury vehicles as well as more affordable, family cars. Attendees can even get behind the wheel and take it for a drive around a course. You will also learn about the technological advancements and get sneak peeks into the new models and prototypes. There is no other event like this in the Twin Cities area. Jeff Belzer’s sent out some of our sales consultants to represent Stellantis this year. Although the event has come and gone, make sure to get the 2025 Twin Cities Auto Show on your calendar!

Kia K4 Front End

At the New York Auto Show on March 27, 2024, Kia unveiled the all-new Kia K4, which is a refreshed, redesigned version of the Forte. Yes, that is correct. The Forte will no longer be in production, and the K4 will be replacing it as the affordable compact sedan in their lineup. The K4 will retain the same aspects of the Forte that we all know and love, the most prevalent being affordability and size. However, this new sedan combines athleticism and elegance to create a completely unique design. Jeff Belzer’s Kia in Lakeville, MN is excited to share more information about this all-new vehicle, including release date, technology, and design.

Design

Exterior

The bold, elegant exterior is inspired by Kia’s design philosophy of “Opposites United,” which uses contrasting elements to create impactful designs. The sleek silhouette of the K4 contrasts with the precise edges on the front and rear fenders, giving it a striking appearance. Also unique to this new sedan are the headlights and taillights. The sharp, simple shape pulls the eye back, elongating the view of the vehicle. The wheels also draw the eye with their interesting angles, much like the wheels on the Kia EV9. Lastly, we will discuss the high gloss black trim. This glossy black on the grille and front bumper gives the vehicle a strong, premium feel.

Interior

On the inside, the three-spoke, two-toned steering wheel is the first thing that catches your eye. Its sleek, sporty design speaks to the rest of the interior design. The luxe seating comes with available heated and ventilated front seats. There is 38 inches of legroom in the second row, leading their class in space. Although this is a compact sedan, there is plenty of room for all passengers. Up front, you have a 12.3-inch-wide digital display where you can access all your essential features. To the left of that is a small fixed digital screen that houses your climate controls for easy reach. Right in front of the driver is another display screen that shows the standard outputs, like speed, RPM, and fuel levels.

5-Door Hatchback

The Kia K4 will also come in a 5-door hatchback version. This is geared towards the person on the go, with more storage space built for your dynamic lifestyle. The hatchback features the same sleek front and rear design as the sedan. This is a great addition to the all-new Kia K4 lineup.

Performance and Handling

In the K4, there are two powertrain options:

Standard 2.0L Engine

  • 147 horsepower

1.6L Turbo Charged Engine

  • 190 horsepower
  • 195 pound-feet of torque
Kia K4 GT-Line

As you can see, the 1.6L turbo charged engine gives you a lot more power than the standard output engine. The turbo charged engine will be exclusively offered on the GT-Line turbo model. This offers an 8-speed automative transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters and sport pedals. If you want a sportier package, the GT-Line turbo model is where you want to be. The GT-Line and GT-Line turbo model also come equipped with responsive sport-tuned steering and multi-link rear suspension for solid handling.

Technology

The all-new Kia K4 has 30 inches of screens in the multi-segment cockpit display, a first in its segment. First debuted in the Kia EV9, the K4 also used the connected car navigation cockpit as the technology behind the vehicle. This allows the vehicle to process and update quicker, and you can access frequently used features with a “quick access” screen on your digital display. Here are some additional technological features within the vehicle:

  • Voice Assistant: Say “Hey Kia” and the vehicle can listen to your voice and recognize your commands. This can be used for climate or audio controls.
    • The Kia Assistant can also give you statistics on sports scores, the weather, information in the owner’s manual, and more
  • Digital Key 2.0
  • 4 USB Ports
  • Standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Available seat and mirror setting memory functionality on driver’s side
  • Over the Air update capabilities
    • Owners of the K4 and other Kia vehicles with Over the Air updates will be able to download the colors of your favorite NBA team through Kia Connect
      • This incorporates your team’s color into the digital display screens, creating a unique experience.

The Kia K4 clearly comes with the latest, advanced technology to set itself apart from the other vehicles in the compact sedan segment. It also comes with 11 standard ADS (Automated Driving Systems) features and 29 available technologies to ensure you and your family are safe on the road.

If you are considering trading your vehicle in for a new ride, you might have some questions. How much is my vehicle worth? How will I know if I am getting a fair offer on my trade? What should I bring with me and how should I prepare? Taking certain measures before you step foot in a dealership will help ensure you have a smooth, successful trade-in experience. At Jeff Belzer’s in Lakeville, Roseville, and New Prague, MN, we are dedicated to providing you with quality information to help you make informed decisions. Let’s get into the 10 essential steps to take before trading in your vehicle.

1. Research Your Vehicle’s Value

To begin the process of trading in your vehicle, you want to start by having a good baseline of what your vehicle is worth. Research the current market value of your vehicle with online tools like Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds. There are plenty of tools out there to use: these are some of the most popular and well-known. You can go on our website and use the Jeff Belzer’s Instant Cash Offer tool through Kelley Blue Book as well. Having a good understanding of the value of your vehicle will help in having informed conversations with dealers.

2. Assess Your Personal Finances

If you still owe money on your vehicle, log into your account through your financial institution or contact them to get a payoff quote. This tells you how much money you still owe on the vehicle. When you purchase a new vehicle, this amount will be tacked onto the buyer’s order, less the value of your trade. So, keep this amount in mind when searching for your new ride. Consider how much you can afford and how much you want to spend. This will ensure you are in a comfortable financial position when upgrading your car.

3. Collect Multiple Quotes

We encourage you to shop around for quotes, whether that be through dealerships or external tools and research. Visit a few different dealerships to get a quote on what your vehicle is worth. However, keep in mind the sale price of the new vehicle that you want. For example, one dealership could offer you $15,000 for your trade and a sale price of $55,000 for the new vehicle. Another dealership could offer you $10,000 for your trade but a sale price of $48,000. In this case, the dealership that offered you less is the dealership you would get a better deal at due to the lower sale price. Overall, getting multiple quotes allows you to come prepared and have an informed conversation regarding the value of your vehicle.

4. Gather Vehicle Documents

Track down all the documents relating to your vehicle, the most important being its title. If this is lost or destroyed, order a duplicate by contacting your DMV. If you live in Minnesota, click here to get the form. Also, if you have paid your vehicle off, make sure you have the lien card. This shows the release of the lien by the financial institution. You can contact them for a duplicate if you are missing yours. Service and maintenance records are great to gather, although not completely necessary. They show that you have kept up with your vehicle’s required maintenance and will show any additional service put in, such as tires or brakes.

5. Address Minor Repairs

If your vehicle has a minor scratch, dent, or repair, it would be recommended to fix it yourself. Dealers go through a re-conditioning process when they bring a vehicle in on trade, so anything you can do to mitigate that cost would be ideal for you. This will ultimately increase the value of your vehicle and the amount you will get for it on trade. If the repair is beyond the scope of your capabilities, bring it to a trained service professional.

6. Clean Your Vehicle

This one is simple and often overlooked. A clean vehicle, both on the inside and outside, will most likely bring the trade value up compared to a dirty car in need of extensive cleaning. This goes back to the reconditioning process. In addition, it may show a greater level of care and attention to the vehicle, which in turn means one with no issues or maintenance needed.

7. Make an Appointment with a Dealer

Sales Consultant Talking with Client

Once you have made the necessary preparations, make an appointment with a dealership that you have been in contact with and that you trust. Of course, selling your vehicle outright to a third party is an option. But if you have decided that going through a dealership is the best way to go, make an appointment. There, the dealer will walk you through the appraisal process along with the new vehicle purchase process. You have the right to negotiate on the trade-in value. Based on your prior research and knowledge, you can have an informed conversation with the dealer to get the best value.

8. Bring all Necessary Items and Paperwork

Before you head to the dealership, make sure you have everything you need for a smooth experience. Bring the paperwork mentioned above, like the title, lien release, and maintenance records. If you have someone listed on your title aside from yourself, make sure they are present so that they can sign the title. Also, bring a valid photo ID card for all title holders and proof of insurance for yourself. Aside from those personal documents, ensure you have all items related to the vehicle. This includes all sets of keys, remotes, and the owner’s manual. If you are missing any of these items, it may lower the value of your trade.

9. Take Everything of Value Out of Your Trade

Once all the paperwork is signed, you are set to take the items out of your trade and transfer them into your new vehicle. The garage door opener is always a forgotten item, so be sure to remember that! Sunglasses, water bottles, CDs, chargers, snow scrapers, and items hanging from your rearview mirror should be looked for as well. The last thing you want is a lost item and have to go back to the dealership. A thorough inspection of the car should ensure you have everything you want from your trade.

10. Enjoy Your New Vehicle

Now that the hard part is over, relax and enjoy your new ride – you deserve it! That said, we hope it was not a difficult process. We hope that these 10 steps will ensure that your trade-in process goes smoothly and efficiently.

Although the thought of trading in your vehicle can seem overwhelming, our goal at Jeff Belzer’s is to walk you through the step-by-step process to inform and empower you. From researching your vehicle’s value to gathering quotes and paperwork to driving away in your new car, we want it to be a smooth and simple process. Visit us in Lakeville, New Prague, or Roseville or complete our online KBB Instant Cash Offer tool for an estimated value on your trade. Our extensive new inventory of Chevrolet, Ford, Kia, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram as well as our used inventory will be sure to have the perfect vehicle you are looking for. Table Sign at Annual Dinner

Although February is the shortest month of the year, it was packed full of community events here at Jeff Belzer’s. It was a time to extend our love and support to the communities that we cherish. In this month’s update, we are excited to share the events that we supported, including Lakeville Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner, Charlie’s on Prior Beer & BBQ Fest, Lakeville North Hockey, and the Holy Cross Crusader Celebration.

Lakeville Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner

Every year, the Lakeville Area Chamber of Commerce holds their Annual Dinner, designed to honor and celebrate the businesses and community that make Lakeville thrive. Jeff Belzer’s was honored to be a sponsor of the 2024 Annual Dinner, held at the Holiday Inn & Suites. It was a great night of connecting, networking, and listening to the impressive 2023 recap and exciting plans for 2024. There was also an award ceremony to honor the outstanding individuals and businesses that are influential to our community. Congratulations to the following awardees:

  • 2023 Businessperson of the Year: Bob Curtus, Bob Curtis Agency Farmer’s Insurance
  • Community Business Partner: Lakeville Lions
  • Tourism Business Partner: Buck Hill Ski & Snowboard
  • Education Business Partner: Pro Tech Automotive
  • Ambassador of the Year: RJ Cetnarowski, New Market Bank
  • Volunteer of the Year: Tammy Gruidl, MOR Golf & Utility

Lakeville would not be the stellar city it is without your support, and we thank you for your hard work and dedication. 2023 marked the 75th year of the Chamber’s existence. Here’s to another 75 years of advancement, success, and growth!

Charlie’s on Prior Beer & BBQ Fest

Typically, the Beer & BBQ Fest held at Charlie’s on Prior would take place on the ice. However, this year has been unusually warm, so the event was not able to be held on the lake. Despite the change, the event was an amazing success. Year after year, Beer & BBQ Fest continues to grow in size and popularity. Many beverage vendors are set up and offer free samples to attendees. There are also samples of Charlie’s pulled pork along with sandwiches and wings to purchase. It is a perfect way to spend a winter Saturday! Jeff Belzer’s was a sponsor of the event – watch the video below for a sneak peek into the fun.

Lakeville North Boys Hockey Heads & Tails Game Sponsor at Valentine’s Social

Jeff Belzer’s has always been a proud supporter of a variety of youth sports, and this month, we will highlight Lakeville North Boys Hockey. Their annual Valentine Social is the biggest fundraiser of the year and proceeds are used to offset the costs associated with running the hockey program. It was held in early February and Jeff Belzer’s was a sponsor of their Heads & Tails game. Currently, their record is 21-7 – incredible work, team! The end of the hockey season is quickly approaching, and we hope it was a great season.

Holy Cross Crusader Celebration

Holy Cross Catholic School in Webster is dedicated to excellence in education and the promotion of innovative academics, joyful service, and spiritual and character development. Every year, they hold the Holy Cross Crusader Celebration, which is a celebratory night of games, dinner, raffles, and a silent and live auction. The proceeds from the auctions go towards furthering their mission statement and always have great attendance. Jeff Belzer’s was a Silver sponsor and enjoyed attending in support of their organization.

Kia Carnival Exterior

The 2025 Kia Carnival MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) aims to redefine versatility and sophistication within the family vehicle segment. With a sleek design, impressive passenger and cargo space, and an all-new turbo-hybrid powertrain, this MPV does just that. Dealers are excited to welcome this new model year into its showrooms in the summer of 2024 (anticipated arrival). Read on to learn more about its features and contact Jeff Belzer’s Kia for more information on arrivals and availability.

Sophisticated Design

The Kia Carnival truly does have the stylistic aspects of an SUV. The front end is similar to a Telluride or Sorento in shape and style. The rest of the body boasts a clean, chiseled appearance, which is typically not seen when looking at MPVs. Other MPVs are more curved and rounded, with functionality taking precedence over design. With the Kia Carnival, they aimed to change that. Along with the sharp, sleek lines, this vehicle has a unique front fascia and grille design. This is paired with the available contoured skid plate to create a seamless design. All in all, this exterior redesign differentiates itself even further from other MVPs in the market, and all of us at Jeff Belzer’s have to say: we like the elevation.

Sleek Interior

Moving to the inside of the vehicle, you will experience comfort and luxury alike. The Carnival boasts best-in-class passenger and cargo space (1). With 145.1 cubic feet of cargo room behind the first row, you will have plenty of room for friends, family, and belongings. This MPV can seat 7 or 8, depending on which version you want. The “Slide Flex” seating features a sliding second row center seat, which can slide up so that the front passenger can have easy access. And don’t worry! The removable second row and fold-in-floor third-row seats have continued on to the 2025 model year. This is a game changer for families.

On the dashboard, you will see ambient lighting across the whole thing along with a minimalist center fascia design. There is a vast center console with two cupholders designed to accommodate larger cups and beverages. Depending on the trim level, you will enjoy premium seating with intricate stitching. There is an optional VIP Lounge Seat package available. In this package, the second row has a “relaxation mode,” which includes reclining seats with a leg extension (2). We are excited to try this feature out!

Hybrid Power

To elevate the Carnival and provide an eco-conscious option, Kia is offering a hybrid option. It will have a 1.6-liter turbo-hybrid engine alongside a 54kW motor and 6-speed automatic transmission. This offers 242 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. To compare, the standard engine in the Carnival is a 3.5-liter V6 GDI engine. This offers 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The goal of the hybrid option is to improve fuel economy without compromising performance or comfort. The Carnival HEV comes with aerodynamic 17-inch wheels, which are exclusive to the HEV option. Let’s check out some other exclusive features to the HEV:

  • E-Handling: improves responsiveness and agility of vehicle when entering or exiting a corner
  • E-Ride: specially tuned shocks absorb the jolt of a bump, creating a smoother ride
  • E-Evasive Handling Assist: helps control the vehicle during emergency steering to maximize evasion
  • E-VMC (Electrification-Vehicle Motion Control): adjusts regenerative braking with a three-level deceleration control

Technology and Connectivity

The 2025 Kia Carnival comes standard with seven USB-C ports, two power outlets, and two 115V inverters, ensuring that all devices stay charged in every row. There is a panoramic display with a 12.3-inch cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display (3). You have the option of adding a full-color heads-up display (4) so that you can see your speed, RPM, speeding limit, and more in your line of sight while driving. These options are also customizable so that you can display what is relevant to you. While driving, you can say “Hey Kia” with a request such as adjusting the climate control and the vehicle will automatically do it for you. These new technologies and advancements help make the Carnival a desired MPV in the market.

Kia believes that it is important to be and stay connected inside the vehicle to create seamless experiences. The 2025 Carnival will now offer the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC). Based on your usage and needs, the vehicle will organize frquently used apps into a Quick Controls menu. It also processes over-the-air updates (5) more efficiently. Rear passengers can utilize the Connected Car Rear Cockpit (ccRC) Entertainment System. This features two 14.6-inch screens which can stream content from various platforms. You can also mirror from other devices using an HDMI port or connect their Bluetooth headsets. Kia has also made the Digital Key 2.0 available on the 2025 Carnival. This allows you to use a smart device or an NFC-enabled smart card as “keys” to unlock, lock, and drive your vehicle.

Safety as Priority

As always, safety is the number one priority when designing Kia vehicles. The Advanced Driver Assistance System comes standard with all new Kias. This includes the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (6), which alerts the driver if a potential collision is imminent and can automatically apply the brakes to avoid a collision. Other ADAS features include available Junction Crossing, Lange-change Oncoming, Lange-change Side, Evasive Steering Assist, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (7), and Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (8). New to the 2025 Carnival is the Highway Driving Assist. This system keeps a certain distance between you and the car in front of you, keeps your vehicle within the lines on the road, and assists in lane changes.

As we conclude our journey through the 2025 Kia Carnival, it’s evident that Kia has set a new benchmark for MPVs. With its hybrid powertrain, sophisticated design, and innovative features, the 2025 Carnival offers a glimpse into the future of versatile and eco-friendly mobility. Whether you’re seeking efficiency, style, or functionality, the Carnival delivers on all fronts. Be sure to contact us for all updates and information surrounding the 2025 Kia Carnival. Jeff Belzer’s Kia has been the #1 Volume Kia Dealer in Minnesota since 2017. We are dedicated to our customers and would love to help you take it for a test drive when it arrives in the summer!
