2025 Equinox ACTIV

Pre-production models shown throughout. Actual production models may vary.

The wait will soon be over to experience the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox. Expected to arrive mid-2024, the excitement is building for consumers and dealers alike. The all-new Equinox boasts a sleek, dynamic exterior that looks similar to the Traverse. There is also a brand new trim level along with a two-tone roof available. Jeff Belzer’s is excited to walk you through the features of this vehicle, including exterior, interior, trim levels, technology, and safety. You’ll be impressed with the updates made on this crossover SUV. Let’s get into it!

Exterior & Interior

Exterior

From the outside, the 2025 Chevy Equinox looks sleek, powerful, and confident. The vehicle’s strong, sharp lines give it a more chiseled look than the rounded exterior in year’s past. The headlights are also thinner and more stylish, giving it a modern look. There is one new exterior feature that is sure to be the crowd-favorite: each trim has a grill and front fascia design that is unique. This means that each trim level has its own distinct look to the front end, elevating each option in its own way. The last exterior feature to mention is the two-tone roof. You have the option to switch up the roof color from the main color of the vehicle. It is available in black or white on select trim levels and colors to add even more of a wow factor. Visit Chevrolet’s website for a full range of body colors and their corresponding roof options.

Interior

The inside of the 2025 Equinox is as luxe as the outside. Depending on the trim level, you can expect to see stylish accents on the dash and premium seating, although all trims are exquisitely designed to impress. Let’s discuss the upholstery options and cargo space available.

  • Seating: The RS and ACTIV trim levels both come with standard Evotex seating, and ACTIV adds in suede elements as well. What is Evotex? This is a synthetic material that is stain and spill resistant, wear-resistant, and easy to clean. It is perfect for all families out there! The LT trim comes standard with cloth seating.
  • Cargo Space: There is an impressive 63.5 cubic feet of cargo space in the 2025 Equinox, with a folding 60/40 split-bench seat. In addition to this, there is a hidden storage compartment underneath the rear cargo floor. This allows for extra storage and helps keep items out of view if needed. For easy access to the trunk space, there is a Hands-Free Autosense Power Liftgate.

Safety

Safety for you and your family has been Chevy’s top priority for years now. This is why the 2025 Equinox will come standard with important features to help you stay safe and aware on the road. One of these features is called HD Surround Vision (3). There are sensors all around the outside of the vehicle that allow you to get a full 360 view of the area surrounding you. When you are in a parking spot, the cameras will show you views from the front, back, and even an aerial view so that you can see where you are in relation to other cars. It will also alert you when you are getting close to something both in drive and in reverse. Along with HD Surround Vision, the Equinox also comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist (4), which is a package of 6 key features.

  1. Automatic Emergency Braking (3): This feature will detect a potential collision and will automatically apply the brakes to avoid a crash or lessen the severity.
  2. Front Pedestrian Braking (3): This is similar to automatic emergency braking, but is used to detect when a pedestrian is directly in front of you. It will alert you and apply hard emergency braking if necessary.
  3. Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning (3): With Lane Departure Warning, your vehicle will alert you if you are veering into another lane. Lane Keep Assist goes a step further in that it will gently turn the wheel to stay in the lane if it detects you drifting.
  4. Forward Collision Alert (3): This feature has two aspects to it. One is the Tailgating Alert, which will turn your display icon yellow if the vehicle senses that you are following the leading vehicle too closely. The other part is the Collision Alert itself. If the vehicle in front of you abruptly slows down or you are approaching them too quickly, it will display a red icon and you will hear a beeping noise.
  5. Following Distance Indicator (3): With this feature, it will display the following time in seconds between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you. This is to ensure you maintain a safe following distance. You must go into the settings to manually turn this feature on.
  6. Intellibeam: Your high beams will go on and off automatically depending on the traffic around you.

The arrival of the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox is just around the corner. With a slight redesign of the body to give it a more sharp, bold look along with unique grilles and a two-tone roof, this SUV will be sure to stand out. This is a much-anticipated arrival with these unique customizations and impressive technology and safety features. Moras Racing Snocross

When January comes around, the main mantra you hear is “new year, new me.” In our case, when it comes to community initiatives, our commitment remains the same. At Jeff Belzer’s, we are beyond excited to kick off another year of meaningful involvement within our beloved communities. In this month’s update, we will share our experience at the Northern Green Trade Show and highlight the winter sports teams that we support.

Northern Green Trade Show

It was our first year out at the Northern Green Trade Show, held at the St. Paul RiverCentre. This event is put on by the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA). Northern Green is the largest green industry trade show in the north-central region and is designed to create and bolster relationships between industries and companies. Jeff Belzer’s was an exhibitor and our commercial team went out to show how we can be an asset to the attendee’s company’s fleet of vehicles. It was a great day of making new connections as well as fostering current relationships. We are excited for next year!

Jeff Belzer’s stocks Chevrolet, Ford, and Ram commercial inventory, which ranges from 1500s to 5500s to cutaway vans. If we don’t have what you are looking for in our current inventory, our team would be happy to assist you with a custom order to ensure you get exactly what you need to make your fleet thrive. We have a dedicated fleet team who are here to answer any questions you have. If you are interested, take a no-obligation fleet assessment here: https://forms.office.com/r/du2DYzSasJ

Winter Sports

Supporting youth sports has always been a top priority for Jeff Belzer’s. Participating in sports and other activities shows kids how to work as a team and teaches them hard work, communication, and sportsmanship. Although we support youth sports year-round, we want to highlight winter sports in this month’s post.

Snocross

This year, we are sponsoring Courtney Moras, who competes in the professional women’s class in snocross. She participates in the Amsoil Championship National Tour, which runs from December 2023 – April 2024. Although there are many races left in the season, we want to highlight one event she raced at in January. The Pirtek Snocross National is held at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, and this year, it happened to be on the coldest weekend of the year! However, Courtney and the other racers still had a great time out there despite the frigid air. She had three top-10 finishes for the weekend – way to go, Courtney! Watch the video below for a highlight of the weekend. Her upcoming races will take the team to Wisconsin, South Dakota, New York, and even Canada. We wish you the best of luck out there!

Hockey

Lakeville South Boys Hockey

Jeff Belzer’s is a team sponsor for the 2023/24 season, and we also sponsored their annual golf tournament this past summer. Their season runs until February 16th, so they still have a couple of weeks left, but right now, their record is 6-3. Keep it up!

Lakeville South Girls Hockey

Along with boys hockey, we also support the Lakeville South Girls Hockey program. Their season ends a little sooner on February 3rd. The team is doing absolutely incredible this season, with a record of 18-2-3. Way to go, girls! Watch the video below for a highlight of the games.

Dance Team

Eastview Dance Team

This year, we are sponsoring the Eastview Lightning Dance Team, based out of Apple Valley. Their season extends from October to the end of February, with 14 competitions on the docket. They had their very own Eastview Invitational in December with a theme of “In My Dance Team Era.” They had a phenomenal turnout! Keep up the great work and best of luck with the rest of the season!

Lakeville South Cougars Dance Team

Jeff Belzer’s was also a sponsor of the 2023/24 season for the Lakeville South Cougars Dance Team. Similar to Eastview, they had 14 competitions this season, with one home competition. This was called “South for the Winter” and had over 3,000 people in attendance. Have fun at the upcoming State Tournament!

Gymnastics

New Prague Gymnastics Club

New Prague Gymnastics is almost done with their season, although the Gymnastics Club will keep practicing and having sessions in their dedicated facility in town. Jeff Belzer’s is a team sponsor this 2023/24 season and we look forward to continuing to support youth sports within our communities.

** The following article includes the latest information provided by the Internal Revenue Service. Visit the Clean Vehicle Tax Credit page for more information on this program. This article is organized for information purposes only, and should not be misconstrued as tax, financial, or legal advice.

As we move towards a greener future, the automotive landscape is constantly evolving. The latest evolution? A clean vehicle tax credit offered directly at point of purchase. This means that you can reduce the purchase price of your vehicle by the amount of the tax credit that you qualify for. These significant financial incentives are designed to make electric vehicles (EVs), plug-in hybrids, and fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) more affordable and accessible than ever before. At Jeff Belzer’s, we are committed to giving our consumers the healthy, relevant information they need to make the best decision for them. Today, we will talk about what the clean vehicle tax credit is, how you qualify, and how much you can receive.

What is the Clean Vehicle Tax Credit?

The Clean Vehicle Tax Credit is a federal financial incentive to purchase an electric vehicle (EV), plug-in hybrid, or fuel cell vehicle (FCV). This is an effort to make clean vehicles more affordable to consumers, and thus furthering our goals of a greener future. On April 18, 2023, new rules regarding this tax credit took effect, which will be broken down below. January 1, 2024 is when the truly exciting change happened. Before this day, buyers had to fill out and file Form 8936 with their tax return to get the credit. As of the first of the year, you can transfer the credit to the dealership at the time of sale. Then, the dealer can take that amount off the purchase price, saving you thousands of dollars on your new clean vehicle purchase. There is a credit available for both new and used vehicle purchases. Let’s talk about how you qualify.

How Do I Qualify?

To qualify for this tax credit, you must purchase the vehicle for your own personal use and operate the vehicle primarily in the United States. You can claim it as an individual or a business. The main criteria on the individual level is income. The thresholds vary depending on if you are purchasing a new or used vehicle.

New Vehicles

To qualify, your modified adjusted gross income must not exceed:

  • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
  • $225,000 for heads of households
  • $150,000 for all other filers

Used Vehicles

When purchasing a qualifying used vehicle, you cannot be the original owner and cannot have claimed another used vehicle credit in the 3 years before the purchase date.

To qualify, your modified adjusted gross income must not exceed:

  • $115,000 for married couples filing jointly
  • $112,500 for heads of households
  • $75,000 for all other filers

You can either use your modified adjusted gross income from the year you took delivery of the vehicle or the year prior, whichever is less. Note that it is when you took delivery of the vehicle, not when you purchased the vehicle. Although these are often the same date, be mindful of this variance.

What Vehicles Qualify?

The qualifications differ slightly between new and used vehicles. Let’s start with new:

New Vehicles

  • Have a battery capacity of at least 7 kilowatt hours
  • Have a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 14,000 pounds
  • Have an MSRP that does not exceed
    • $80,000 for vans, SUVs, and pickup trucks
    • $55,000 for other vehicles
  • Be made by a qualified manufacturer
    • FCVs do not need to be made by a qualified manufacturer to be eligible. See Rev. Proc. 2022-42 for more detailed guidance.
  • Meet critical mineral and battery component requirements
  • Undergo final assembly in North America
    • 1. Find this and other information on the vehicle’s window sticker
    • 2. Use the Department of Energy’s Electric Vehicles with Final Assembly in North America page and enter in your vehicle’s VIN number

Fuel Economy has created a great resource to determine if your new vehicle qualifies for a tax credit. Go to their new vehicle tax credit page and input the delivery date, year, make, model, and fuel type to determine if your vehicle or a vehicle you are interested in qualifies for a tax credit.

Used Vehicles

  • Be an eligible FCA or plug-in EV with a battery capacity of at least 7 kilowatt hours
  • Have a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 14,000 pounds
  • Have a sale price of $25,000 or less
    • This does not include fees required by law, such as tax, title, and registration fees
  • Be a model year at least 2 years older than the calendar year that you purchased
    • Ex: A vehicle purchased in 2024 must be a model year of 2022 or older

Similar to the new vehicles, Fuel Economy can tell you if your used vehicle qualifies for the credit. Visit their pre-owned vehicle tax credit page for more information.

Of course, if you ever have questions on whether your vehicle or one you are interested in qualifies for a tax credit, contact our highly trained and experienced sales team. We will help you every step of the way, from exploring your EV options to getting your tax credit at time of sale.

How Much is the Credit?

New Vehicles

Earlier in the article, we mentioned that new vehicles must meet critical mineral and battery component requirements to qualify. Based on those aspects, here are the tax credit amounts:

  • $3,750 if the vehicle meets the critical minerals requirement only
  • $3,750 if the vehicle meets the battery components requirement only
  • $7,500 if the vehicle meets both
  • $0 if the vehicle meets neither requirement

Reference the table below for quick reference on how much a new vehicle qualifies for based on the above requirements. Note that you must also meet the individual requirements to qualify for this credit.

Used Vehicles

The tax credit on a qualifying pre-owned vehicle equals 30% of the sale price with a maximum of $4,000.

How Do I Claim the Credit?

As of January 1, 2024, tax credit eligibility and the amount of the credit will be determined at the point of sale using the IRS Energy Credits Online portal. Dealers must be registered with the IRS to offer this service to their guests. When you are at the dealership, the dealer will submit the time-of-sale report online, and it will be accepted or rejected in real time. This will determine the credit. The dealer is required to provide a copy of this report to you, which you will need to claim your credit.

To actually claim this credit, there are 2 options.

  1. Complete the same process that was followed before 2024. Complete and file Form 8936, Qualified Plug-in Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit (Including Qualified Two-Wheeled Plug-in Electric Vehicles), with your tax return.
  2. You can transfer the eligible credit to the dealer. They will apply the credit to the final purchase price so that you receive the benefit of the credit at the time of sale. You still need to fill out Form 8936 and file it with your tax return with your decision to transfer your credit to the dealer. The dealer will then be reimbursed by the IRS.*

*It is important to note that if the vehicle qualifies but you do not qualify for any reason, you must reimburse the IRS for any difference in the credit that you are not eligible for and the benefit you received from the dealer. The dealer is required to provide the modified adjusted gross income requirements for your information but is not required to verify the eligibility of the buyer at the time of sale. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that you qualify.

This federal Clean Vehicle Tax Credit hopes to make electric and hybrid vehicles more accessible to consumers by offering a significant incentive directly at the time of sale. At Jeff Belzer’s, we are here to help you navigate the world of EV and hybrids, providing expert guidance, a wide range of options, and exceptional customer service. Through our 3 locations of Lakeville, New Prague, and Roseville, we offer a variety of makes, including Chevrolet, Ford, Kia, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. We are also prepared and poised to give you your tax credit right at the dealership. This new change is exciting and we cannot wait to help you along your green vehicle buying journey.

Jeep Grand Cherokee vs. Grand Cherokee L Comparison

For years, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has been renowned in the market for its elegant design and capable performance. By mixing luxury with adventure, they appeal to road trip seekers and trend setters alike. Jeep began a new trend with the release of its Grand Cherokee L in 2021. This larger counterpart to the beloved Grand Cherokee adds a third row, offering more space and additional carrying capacity. Below we will dive into the differences between these two models, focusing on exterior, interior space, and the car seat tilt feature. Our goal at Jeff Belzer’s is to provide you with the information needed to make an informed decision based on your needs and lifestyle. Let’s get into it!

Exterior:

From the outside, these two models look almost identical. Although the Grand Cherokee L adds about 11 inches in length, it is difficult to tell from simply looking at the vehicle’s exterior. Jeep did a fantastic job accommodating this (almost) one foot difference and not compromising on design. The Grand Cherokee L’s wheelbase is 5 inches longer than the Grand Cherokee’s wheelbase. What does a longer wheelbase do? It provides a slightly more smooth and comfortable ride quality as well as better steering and handling. However, a shorter wheelbase allows for tighter turns and more agility. Now that we’ve discussed the exterior, let’s move on to the inside.

Interior Space:

The main, most obvious difference between the Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L is the addition of the third row. This turns a 5-passenger vehicle into a 6 or 7 passenger vehicle, depending on what second row seats you get. Going on adventures with the ones that matter most has never been easier, or more stylish! With the Grand Cherokee, you get a standard second row bench seat, whereas with the Grand Cherokee L, you can choose between a second-row bench seat or captain chairs (bucket seats). The third row is a standard bench seat and houses 2 passengers. Behind the third row, you have 17.2 cubic feet of cargo space, offering plenty of room for groceries even with 7 people. With the third row down, a whopping 46.9 cubic feet of cargo room is available! Read more about the cargo space and type of seats available on Jeep’s website.

Car Seat Tilt:

This feature is for you, moms, dads, and families! With second row bucket seats, the Grand Cherokee L comes standard with a car seat friendly tilt. When you have a car seat installed on a seat, it can be difficult to maneuver around to the third row. Not with this vehicle! When a car seat is installed on the bucket seat, all you do is press and hold the latch on the back of the seat and pull forward. The seat will smoothly slide forward and tilt while doing so, allowing passengers to easily climb in the back without compromising the integrity of the car seat. Genius! Another great feature for families that is offered with the Grand Cherokee L is the rear seat monitoring camera. On your infortainment system screen, you can see an overhead view of what is going on behind you both in the second and third row. You can even zoom in to check how your passengers are doing. All of this can be done without having to turn around or try to look in your rearview mirror with this amazing feature!

We have looked at the main differences between the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The exterior looks similar to one another, but the Grand Cherokee L adds 11 inches of length with the addition of the third row. The Grand Cherokee seats 5, but the Grand Cherokee L can seat 6 or 7 depending on whether you want a second row bench seat or bucket seats. And don’t forget about the car seat tilt and rear seat monitoring camera! So, which Jeep Grand Cherokee is right for you? Come visit us at our New Prague or Roseville locations to compare for yourself! Regardless of which you choose, you’ll be sure to get around in comfort and style, both synonymous with the Jeep name.  Follow us on Facebook. How to apply my electric vehicle purchase for the EV Tax Rebate in Minnesota

As part of the online application submission, applicants must upload three documents on the website:

  1. Current (not expired) Minnesota Driver’s License
  2. Most recent electric utility bill
  3. Signed purchase agreement or lease (if neither exists, applicants may submit other documentation proving they purchased the EV and the purchase price)

Yes, you may apply for other clean energy rebates, subject to that program’s requirements. Receiving other clean energy rebates does not impact eligibility to receive an EV rebate.

Is the Minnesota EV Tax Rebate Separate from Federal Tax Credits?

Federal rebates for electric vehicles (EV) involve a separate application process with different criteria to qualify for EV rebates. For more info about federal EV rebates go to: http://energy.gov/save/drivers

Truck of Toys for Tots

Welcome to the December edition of our monthly Belzer in the Community update! With the busyness of the holidays, it certainly went by fast, but we are proud of the December we had. This month was not only a time for celebration but also an opportunity for us at Jeff Belzer’s to give back and make a meaningful difference within our community. Join us as we walk through the happenings of the month.

Holiday Parade of Lights and Celebration

In early December, we had the pleasure of being a sponsor of the Holiday Parade of Lights and Celebration in New Prague. At this event, trucks, trailers, and floats went down main street decked out with bright lights and holiday décor. Santa was even riding on the New Prague fire truck. It was a sight to see! Back at Memorial Park, the area was filled with community members enjoying complimentary hot chocolate. The night capped off with a tree lighting ceremony and fireworks. Jeff Belzer’s had a Ford Lightning parked at the front, showing off the truck’s electric capabilities. It was a great night, and we thank the New Prague Chamber of Commerce for putting it on. Watch the video below for a recap of the night.

Jeff Belzer’s Holiday Celebration

Between November 16th and December 16th, we collected toys at each location for Toys for Tots. We were absolutely overwhelmed with the amount of support that we saw within the community. Although we do not have a complete count, we collected a couple hundred toys for the program. We dropped them off and had a hefty trailer load! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity. It is no doubt that countless kids had a smile on their face this holiday season opening up the gifts. To celebrate the holidays and give one last hurrah to the toy drive, we had a Holiday Celebration event at our Lakeville location.

At this event, Santa made an appearance! He was available to families and children to take photos with and spread the holiday cheer. There was also a full hot chocolate bar, complete with Caribou hot chocolate, Pirouette cookies, candy canes, mini marshmallows, and mints. Eileen’s cookies were there as well for people to enjoy. We also had crafts and coloring tables set up for the kids. It was heart-warming to see all of the fun ornaments, crafts, and coloring sheets that they made during the event. All in all, it was an amazing night of fun, laughter, and celebration of the holiday season – take a look at the recap video below for a sneak peak of the evening!

Shop with a Hero

Every year, the Lakeville Public Safety Foundation puts on an event called Shop with a Hero. During this event, middle schoolers within the community are paired up with either a police officer or firefighter. They get a certain amount of money that they are able to spend on holiday gifts for themselves or their family. The goal of the event is to provide gifts to kids in the community who need them and also to foster positive relationships with the first responders of Lakeville.

This is just one of the incredible events that the LPSF puts on, and Jeff Belzer’s is grateful to be a part of it. We are a sponsor of this event every year and have employees go out to volunteer. During the shift, they get to interact with the kids and first responders and wrap the gifts that the kids purchase. It is a truly joyful event both for the participants and volunteers. Jeff Belzer’s was also able to present a $500 check to the Lakeville Public Safety Foundation. They were our chosen recipient for our GM First Responder program, and we look forward to continuing to support our first responder community well into the future.

This can compromise the integrity of your vehicle’s structure, so it is imperative that this is repaired. With our Laser Measuring and Straightening System, we ensure that the vehicle’s frame is accurately aligned.
  • Paint Matching: Our team used an advanced computerized paint matching system when repairing your vehicle. The paint will be perfectly matched, and your vehicle will be restored to its original beauty. No one will even be able to tell that an accident happened!
  • Paintless Dent Repair: With those small dings and dents, our team uses paintless dent repair to push the metal back into place. In this process, our technicians use special tools to gently work the metal into its rightful position, starting from the outside in, until it is untraceable. Since this is non-invasive, it will offer you time and cost savings.

Winter Tires

Winter is here! With the cold and uncertain weather to come, it is essential that your vehicle is prepared for all the challenging road conditions that are ahead of you. From freezing rain and ice to heavy snow, you never know what you will experience here in Minnesota. One greatly important aspect of winter vehicle maintenance is your tires. Choosing the right type of tires can make a critical difference in your safety and driving experience during the winter months. At Jeff Belzer’s, we want to make sure your tires and vehicle overall are ready to handle the cold weather. Let’s get into comparing winter tires to all-season tires.

Winter Tires

Winter tires are specifically designed and engineered to provide the driver with the best performance in cold, icy, and snowy conditions. They are often referred to as snow tires, and for good reason. Here are the key characteristics:

  • Tread Design: Snow tires have a unique tread pattern with deep grooves and thousands of small slits, known as sipes. This design enhances grip on snow and ice, which provides better traction.
  • Rubber Compound: Winter tires are made of a softer rubber compound that remains flexible in cold temperatures. Similar to the tread design, this ensures better grip on slippery surfaces.
  • Enhanced Braking: With winter tires, you will see a shorter stopping distance on icy roads, as they excel in cold weather braking performance.
  • Temperature Sensitivity: Snow tires are engineered for temperatures below 45°F (7°C). This means that they will maintain their performance and safety features in cold weather.

All-Season Tires

All-season tires, as the name suggests, are designed to offer decent performance year-round throughout a variety of weather and road conditions. While they are a more versatile option, they are best for people who live in a moderate climate and do not often experience extreme cold and snow. All-season tires simply do not offer the same level of winter-specific benefits as snow tires do. Let’s look at the features of all-season tires:

  • Tread Design: All-season tires have a less aggressive tread pattern when compared to winter tires. They aim to provide a compromise between various weather conditions.
  • Rubber Compound: These tires use a harder rubber compound that might stiffen up in extremely cold temperatures, reducing traction on icy surfaces. Allowing flexibility in the rubber is essential to improving your tire’s grip on the road.
  • Versatility: All-season tires will perform well in mild winter conditions, but may not be suitable for harsh weather, whether that be heavy snow and ice, extreme cold, or even extreme heat.

Why You Should Consider Winter Tires

  • Improved Traction: Snow tires provide superior grip on snow and ice through the type of rubber used and the tread design. This ensures better control and stability when you are behind the wheel.
  • Safety: Improved traction leads to enhanced safety for you, your passengers, and the vehicles around you. There is a reduced risk of spinning out and getting into an accident due to poor traction with winter tires on your vehicle.
  • Peace of Mind: Knowing you have the right tires for the unknown winter conditions ahead can boost your confidence on the road.

With winter already upon us, it is crucial to assess your vehicle’s needs and make the right choice for your tires. All-season tires offer convenience year-round but are not designed to excel in extreme conditions. With winter tires, you will experience superior safety and performance due to the tread design, rubber compound, and enhanced braking. If you are thinking about switching to winter tires this season, always be sure to install a full set. Just changing the front or back will lead to risks such as loss of traction. Also, be sure to switch them out for your all-season tires once winter is over! Snow tires will wear down quickly when not used in cold, snowy conditions.

We encourage you to bring your vehicle into Jeff Belzer’s Service Department for a comprehensive checkup and maintenance. Our expert technicians will evaluate your tires, battery, brakes, and other critical components to make sure that your vehicle is prepared for the unpredictable winter weather. Between our Lakeville, Roseville, and New Prague locations, stop in where it is convenient for you. Don’t wait until it is too late: schedule your appointment today and enjoy a more safe, certain, and confident winter driving experience. Your safety is our priority!

Back of Truck for Toys for Tots

The holidays are almost here! From all of us at Jeff Belzer’s to you, we hope that you and your family enjoy a happy and healthy holiday this season. With the holiday spirit in mind, let’s talk about our Toys for Tots drive. From November 16th – December 16th, we are collecting toys at all three of our locations: Lakeville, New Prague, and Roseville. We are just over halfway done with the toy drive and we are so thankful for the generosity of the community. The trucks on the show floor are filling up and we could not be happier! So many kids will have a smile on their face this holiday because of these donations. There are a couple of weeks left in the toy drive, let’s keep it up! See more information for drop-off locations in the graphic above. Let’s get into the rest of November:

Women’s Symposium

The 3rd annual Women’s Symposium & Expo was put on by the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce and held at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club. The event is designed to support and celebrate local, women-owned businesses, and this incredible event did just that! There were a variety of vendors set up, from clothing to health products to food to toys. Attendees could visit these booths and chat with the owners about the business and purchase their products. We also heard from a couple of speakers who spoke about how to reclaim and recharge your energy, and how to communicate effectively and influence within that communication. Jeff Belzer’s was a sponsor of this event and had two team members out there representing the dealership. Thank you, Lakeville Chamber of Commerce – we will see you again next year!

Homefront Heroes Gala

This gala is put on by and benefits the Think GREAT Foundation. This organization is designed to thank and celebrate military and veteran spouses by providing them with scholarships. The sacrifices that they make at home are enormous while their spouses are fighting for our country, and often do not get gratitude for what they do. The Think GREAT Foundation aims to change that. They provide the mil-spouse community with scholarships so that they are empowered to accomplish their educational and career goals. At the Homefront Heroes Gala, these scholarships are awarded to the very deserving recipients. It is an amazing way to bring everyone together in a big celebration and say “thank you.” Jeff Belzer’s was a sponsor of the gala and had an employee who is part of the veteran community represent the dealership. We truly thank the Think GREAT Foundation for their incredible work within the community and are honored to have been able to support this event.

Front of Gray Ram 1500

Ram trucks have long been known for their durability and performance, appealing to adventure seekers, commercial users, and truck enthusiasts. Ram took things to new heights with the 2025 Ram 1500. Have you watched Ram’s unveiling of this lineup? If not, no worries. We have you covered. We will be taking a look at the brand-new Ram 1500 REV, Ramcharger and the Tungsten trim level. Don’t worry, we will also cover all of the updates and advancements on the classic 2025 Ram 1500s that you know and love. It truly takes the Ram brand to the next level. Let’s dive in!

Ram 1500 REV

After researching and learning from the performance and common concerns of other electric vehicles, Ram has evolved to create a powerful and reliable electric truck. The all-new Ram 1500 REV is built from the frame up to be a battery powered truck. Ram has specifically designed and engineered this vehicle around the battery pack rather than building a truck and placing a battery in it. Ram boasts that this is the best electric truck in the industry – will you give it a try?

The REV has two 250kW (kilowatt) electric drive modules – one in the front and one in the back – to increase efficiency and allow the front wheels to spin freely. This module combines the motor, gearbox, and inverter to provide all-wheel drive capability.

  • 654 Horsepower
  • 620 pound-feet of torque
  • 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds

Although the Ram 1500 REV is a completely electric truck, it does not falter with the level of power. In fact, it exceeds other models, ensuring you are able to tow your boat, camper, or other toys, and trust it on the job site. By being an electric vehicle, Ram was able to add quite a few neat features to this truck. In the bed of the truck, there are two standard outlets that you can use to charge your power tools, electronics, or whatever you need to charge. It can even be a backup power source for your house! On the inside of the truck, the infotainment center will tell you all you need to know about charging, including range, power flow, charge level and recommendation, and it even allows you to pay when plugged into a public charger. Read more about the 2025 Ram 1500 REV here

Ram 1500 Ramcharger

The Ramcharger is back! Although the previous Ramcharger was well-loved while it was in production, the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger is a true innovation in its class. Ram has created this truck to soothe skeptic’s concerns surrounding battery powered vehicles, specifically focused on power and range. The Ramcharger has a 92 kW battery and a 130 kW gas-powered generator that works as a built in charging system. It charges while you drive, offering an unheard-of 690-mile range (1). This hybrid approach allows range anxiety to be addressed and consumers to slowly dip their feet into the electric vehicle world.

663 Horsepower

615 pound-feet of torque

0-60 in 4.4 seconds

This truck has the capability to pull more than 7 tons, ensuring that you have the power to haul whatever you need for work or play. It pushes boundaries both in capabilities and exterior. Although redesigned, the Ramcharger offers the sleek, sophisticated look that you have come to expect from a Ram. For more information about this new model or launch dates, don’t hesitate to reach out to our team

Tungsten Trim Level

The all-new Tungsten trim level is taking the Limited trim level’s place as the top trim available on Rams. Although Ram is adding a new trim, they are not taking any existing trim levels away, so you can find exactly what you are looking for. The Tungsten is the most technologically advanced Ram 1500 ever and provides a premium experience, both inside and out.

Exterior:

The Tungsten trim features a redesigned full front fascia with a grille pattern that is completely unique to what you have seen before from Ram. The truck also welcomes you when you approach with a walk-up animation. The LED front headlights animate, which is customizable, and there is an exterior light carpet that proudly displays “RAM” as you walk up to the door. The Ram 1500 Tungsten also comes with 22-inch aluminum wheels and “RAM” rear badging and taillamps.

Interior:

You won’t ever want to get out of this truck! The premium leather power front seats have heating, cooling, memory, and even massage functionality. Your ability to fully customize the seats to how they best suit you will ensure comfort is never a concern. On the dashboard, the Tungsten features real wood and carbon fiber accents. It also comes with a 23-speaker Klipsch® Reference Premiere Audio System – The Most Powerful Available Audio System in Its Class (2). You will hear (and feel) your favorite songs with clarity with this exceptional sound system. The new Tungsten trim level is luxury redefined and we cannot wait to start seeing them on the showroom at Jeff Belzer’s in Lakeville, New Prague, and Roseville.

Engines

We know you have heard that Ram is no longer making the HEMI engine for its 2025 lineup. And yes, it is true. However, the new 3.0L Hurricane I6 engine will take its place for even more power and a better fuel economy. We understand the reluctance to accept this new engine; we all love the HEMI, but let’s dig into the Hurricane and see how it compares.

There will be a standard and high-output option of the Hurricane engine. Let’s look at them side-by-side:

High-Output

  • 540 max horsepower
  • 521 max pound-feet of torque
  • 10,740 max pounds towing capacity
  • 1,370 pounds max payload

Standard Output

  • 420 max horsepower
  • 469 max pound-feet of torque
  • 11,560 max pounds towing capacity
  • 1,910 max pounds payload

As you can see, the high output offers 120 more horsepower and 52 more pound-feet of torque than the standard. However, the high output does not have as high towing or payload capacity. Comparing the high output Hurricane to the HEMI, the Hurricane boasts 145 more horsepower and 110 more pound-feet of torque than the HEMI engine. Will you give this new engine a try? Along with the Hurricane engine, there is also the 3.6 L Pentastar® V6 engine with eTorque that will be used in the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup. This engine is capable to 305 max horsepower, 269 max pound-feet of torque, 8,100 max pounds of towing capacity, and 2,300 max pounds of payload.

Technology

The 2025 Ram 1500 lineup is the most technologically advanced yet. They will come standard with features like heads up display, trailer auto hitch assist, five drive modes, and hands-free driving assist. You can even use your phones as your keys! There is also an automated parking system to make parallel parking, or any type of parking, a breeze. Ram also did not skimp out on the screens. There is a 12-inch driver information display, a vast 14.5-inch Uconnect® touchscreen, and a 10.25-inch Passenger Interactive Display screen, allowing your passenger to watch a movie, control the music and more. This is all possible with the driver not being able to view this screen on the passenger’s side for safety. Speaking of safety, this 2025 lineup comes standard with some incredible safety features.

  • Intersection Collision Assist System (3): This safety system sounds when danger of a collision is detected. It deploys auto emergency braking as well, if necessary.
  • Evasive Steer Assist (4): If the Forward Collision Warning System alerts of a frontal collision and the driver makes an evasive steering maneuver to a clear lane, the system will assist the driver with that maneuver.
  • Drowsy Driver Detection (5): If the system detects a drowsy driver (through crossing over road lines, etc), the vehicle will alert the driver through the information display, both visually and audibly.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (6): Your truck will detect road signs, such as speed limits signs, school zones, and more, and display them on the drive information screen.

Technology and safety features are more advanced than ever, ensuring that you have a capable and reliable ride wherever you go. The last major update in 2025 is the addition of the RHO. When Ram announced that 2024 was the last production year of the TRX, there were concerns that there would be a lack of a high-performance, off-road option. This is where the RHO comes in. It will come with the high output Hurricane engine and feature a similar bolstered exterior. There is little information out surrounding the RHO but Jeff Belzer’s will be sure to keep you informed as we get updates.

The 2025 Ram 1500 lineup is guaranteed to turn heads with the addition of the REV, Ramcharger, RHO, and the Tungsten trim level. Ram aims to create a revolution and a new standard for what electric vehicles are capable of with the addition of the high-performing electric and hybrid trucks. However, the power and strength that is synonymous will not be lost with the creation of the Hurricane engine and RHO. The Tungsten trim along with the new features ensure that you will experience a luxurious, comfortable ride. Whether you are working, playing, or simply commuting, Ram has what you need. At Jeff Belzer’s, located in Lakeville, New Prague, and Roseville, we want to get you into the truck that is right for you, so don’t hesitate to come in and test drive something new. Our team will make sure that you stay informed on all updates surrounding the 2025 Ram 1500, so follow us on Facebook and Instagram, or contact our team today. We look forward to helping you and seeing what Ram has in store next.
